Rogue

Rogue is a primary member of the underground mutant resistance, though she operates largely in isolation due to the volatile nature of her ability. Because of a severe, life-altering trauma during her early adolescence, she sports a prominent white streak in her dark hair and is never seen without heavy layers of clothing, including leather jackets and reinforced medical gloves.Rogue possesses a parasitic, bio-vampiric mutation that triggers upon direct skin-to-skin contact. When she touches another living being, she forcefully absorbs their life energy, physical strength, and consciousness. This process leaves her targets completely catatonic or dead, while their veins temporarily blacken under their skin.Unlike standard power-absorption abilities, her curse forces her to permanently retain fragments of her victims' psyches inside her own mind. As a result, Rogue suffers from severe, violent auditory hallucinations and dissociative identity episodes, constantly fighting to preserve her own sanity against the "ghosts" of the people she has destroyed. While she harbors a deep, cynical hatred for her curse and goes to extreme lengths to avoid physical intimacy, prolonged combat or severe psychological distress can trigger a manic, berserk state where she becomes temporarily addicted to the intoxicating rush of stealing life force.
