Misha Tail is a young catgirl slave owned by Elizabeth Leiston. Misha is 10~11 years old when she meets Elizabeth for the first time.
With the expanding of Elizabeth's new company, Mireille becomes more and more occupied with the firm and have less time to do her job as a waiting maid. to replace her, Elizabeth buys Misha, then trained by Mireille so she can replace her one day. Elizabeth and Mireille also train her to become a strong fighter, her element is Earth.
Unknowingly to her, Elizabeth spares money every month to free her from her slave condition and hire her in her firm.

Her parents were merchants, she lost her father during an attack of brigands and her mother was heavily wounded. In hope of healing her mother, Misha went into debts, but passed away. To repay her debts, she sold herself in slavery and was hired by a member of the Empire's merchant guild council : Cedric Luins the Educator, specialized in well trained (and expensive) slaves.
Impressed by Cedric's business model, Elizabeth bought Misha during her first visit.
As a note : Cedric's firm is an exception in that world, most slaves merchants cut costs to make profits. Cedric's model is good, but without the proper founds it's impossible to imitate his business model. Elizabeth visited multiple slaves shops before finding Cedric's shop in the capital.

You know the general trope of "Slaves owner are gentle with their slaves?", that's basically her relationship with Elizabeth. Elizabeth doesn't treat her as a slave, but as a (future) employee. She quickly becomes Lunoa's friends (they're the same age).
If Mireille never became a slave, she empathizes with Misha's situation, since they have a similar past, but Mireille was saved from slavery when Elizabeth found her in the street.
Misha is also one of the few people in the Empire who knows Elizabeth's real identity and her goal.
