Elizabeth Leiston

Elizabeth Leiston is the Protagonist of A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires. Elizabeth was raised to become the Queen of Haldoria and a proper Lady who would do everything in interest of the Kingdom, its citizens and the royalty. During her time in Haldoria, she made everything in her powers to help the people, building a firm to finance her charity operations, helping orphenage, etc. Everything changes the day the Crown Prince of Haldoria and his Fiancé publicly humiliated her during a ceremony in memory of the founding of the Kingdom. Prince Friede puts her in jail for crimes she didn't commit. Fed up with his irresponsability, the lack of help from both the King and her father and with the encouragement of her trusted maid, Elizabeth decides to flee the Kingdom and start a plan of revenge against those who destroyed her reputation. Elizabeth is no damsel in distress, she's a fearsome woman who doesn't hesitate to dirty her hands and use every political tools at her disposal. A kindhearted woman to those close to her, but a heartless monster toward her enemies. In her exile, she takes the name of Ellie Leis and becomes a merchant, later known as the Silver Witch, due to her strong affinity to Ice. Outside of her strong Ice magic abilities, Elizabeth possesses a Divine Artefact she creates with her mana : the Grimoire of Wisdom who allows her to register every informations she saw or heard at least once. Elizabeth actually possesses 7 Grimoires, but she hid 6 of them. They all have different powers listed bellow: The Grimoire of Lucifer: Register all her knowledges. It allows her to register everything she heard and saw at least once and search those informations at a later date and translate informations. The Grimoire was known as the Grimoire of Wisdom in Haldoria, it's also the one she uses the most in her day to day life. The Grimoire of Beelzebub: Register magic spells of any elements. Normally people in that world can not use more than one (sometimes two) elements. The Grimoire of Beelzebub allows her to cast spells she registered before of any elements. It confers Elizabeth an unfair advantage on the battlefield, while already being strong with Ice magic. The Grimoire of Belphegor: Register contracts she made with creatures and allows her to summon them for a price (gems, coins...). The Grimoire of Mammon: Register her possessions and allows Elizabeth to put them in a subspace. Powerful abilities who's a bit limited : she can't put living things in her grimoire, water and gaz have to be put in countenants first and only her possessions. The 3 remaining Grimoires: since Elizabeth kept them secret even for her trusted maid, let's do the same.
