Sanna

Sanna is Otr's little sister. She is one of his driving forces for journeying to the fortress and becoming a cook, in the hopes that he can earn money to support her. Sanna is a young girl with shoulder-length messy hair. When we are introduced to Sanna, she is shown wearing a thick, padded coat that features a quilted pattern, with large, stitched squares and toggle-style button fastenings down the front. The coat is oversized and hangs over the girls' small frame, and underneath she appears to wear an additional layer of clothing, that being a knitted dress. For footwear, Sanna wears boots. Sanna at first appears to have a somewhat morose and disinterested attitude, but through her interactions with Otr, it becomes clear that she deeply cares about her big brother. She is shown putting up with listening to Otr's retellings of the ancient heroes' sagas and expresses concern for him when he is given the opportunity to join the troops as a cook. Before the endless winter came, Sanna is shown to have had a much more lighthearted, free-spirited, and (according to Otr) demanding nature. But once the frozen grip of the Ice Kingdom took hold of the Forest Kingdom, her attitude shifted and she no longer made selfish requests. This shift in her personality could indicate that Sanna is very aware of the siblings' dire situation, and she does not want to burden her brother any more than is necessary.
