Fuuko Sayama

Mephis Pheles, also known by her real name Fuuko Sayama, is one of the main protagonists of Magical Girl Raising Project Black. She is the leader of Class 2-F's Group 2 at Umemizaki Middle School and was recommended to the Magical Girl Class by the Legal Affairs Bureau. She is also a member of the Caspar Faction. Despite her appearance as a human, which is that of someone who is literary and well-learned, Mephis has a huge temper and acts more like a delinquent. In elementary school, she would pick fights with everyone that she found to be annoying, including boys and even her seniors. Her temper is so bad that, at the beginning of the Magical Girl Class, the Millionaire card game had to be banned because she kept losing and threw a tantrum. Mephis also has a foul mouth and swears often, as well as insults those around her, but those in Group 2 do not take it personally. It is revealed that even though Mephis has a temper, she's somehow capable of turning that part of herself off for professional matters. Mephis's magic is to "corrupt hearts with her sweet words." Mephis can convince and/or tempt her target to do her bidding, distract them, or make them believe whatever she is saying. In order for her magic to work, she has to whisper to her target.
