Anna Comnena

Anna Comnena, or Anna Komnene, was a Byzantine princess, daughter of Emperor Alexius I Comnenus and Irene Ducaena. The author of the Alexiad, an account of the reign of her father. She married Caesar Nicephorus Bryennius and gave birth to six children, including megas doux Alexius Comnenus "the Just". (Source: Britannica.com)
