Maiden would join Extrinsic as its newest member, as the higher-ups decided Guillotine alone would not be able to handle Irregulars. Guillotine resolved herself to ensure that her junior would never undergo the same strife she did in the past. As tribute (and coping mechanism for Chloe's loss), Guillotine kept up the chuuni fantasies and prose-like speech, things that baffled and annoyed Maiden to no end.
