Ingrid is the CEO of Elysion.
Embodying the company's principle that Nikkes are to be unparalleled soldiers, Ingrid tends to act a like a drill sergeant, barking out orders and taking little, if any, backtalk. She has a side-hobby of overseeing squad training in the Simulation Room, and often talks about tactics.
Ingrid speaks in a brash and strict manner like a drill sergeant, forbidding any questions or chit-chat while she speaks. She does not take any incompetence lightly much like other superiors in the Ark, even during a training in the Simulation Room. Befitting her demeanor, Ingrid is willing to fight her fellow CEOs when shaken off, more specifically with Syuen.
Despite her tough personality, Ingrid has standards and doesn't cross lines that Syuen has crossed, and Ingrid herself treats her Nikkes well, and has helped the protagonist and the Counters Squad.

Ingrid was born to previous CEO Elysion Franca and an unknown father. Her half-sister is the infamous leader of Heavenly Ascension, Elysion Harper, who was the original heir to Elysion. In their youth, Ingrid and Harper were regularly tested and compared to one another, as Franca was a staunch social Darwinist and wanted only the "strongest" of her children to inherit the company. Harper proved to be "stronger" despite technically being younger, and thus was christened "Elysion Harper" to symbolize her heirdom.

Then one day, Ingrid heard that Harper had been disinherited and expelled from Elysion. After a routine inspection of the wall that was to segregate the Outer Rim from the Ark, Harper returned with ideas about uplifting the slums and improving the quality of life for the people who lived in them. Franca disapproved, seeing the people of the Rim as "weak" and "garbage" who were disqualified as human. Ingrid spoke with Harper at the doors to Elysion, questioning if she had the will to truly defy their mother, and raise the people of the Rim as a counter to her Darwinist beliefs. Harper proved herself determined, so Ingrid simply said her goodbyes and wished her luck.
Some time after that, Franca stepped down from her position as CEO, and Ingrid was thrust into leading the company. After her departure, Harper founded an Outlaw welfare and advocacy group dubbed "Heavenly Ascension," of which a rogue splinter faction bombed one of Elysion's AFX trains. In retaliation, Franca cooperated with the Central Government to lay an ambush and assassinate Harper. The assassination failed, and Franca took responsibility for it by abdicating.

Ingrid used to own a dog named "Poli" who shares the same name with a Nikke. Poli was kidnapped and believed to be dead. However, it was revealed that the dog was involved in a gene-splicing experiment and at the same time, her dog was attached with a bomb targeted against Ingrid. The culprit is none other than a scientist who was formerly working for Elysion. The person who would later be known as "Poli" in honor of her pet dog sacrificed her life to save Ingrid. In exchange for saving her life, Ingrid turns Poli into a Nikke, however some dog genes made their way into the mix, giving Poli the demeanor of a canine, to which she often denies.
