A member of Extrinsic, Elysion's black ops squad for locating and subjugating Irregular or Corrupted Nikkes before they cause (further) harm to the Ark and its citizens. To that end, Guillotine's eye has the power to scan for Nikkes' brainwave patterns that do not belong to registered citizens and shut them down, allowing her to subdue them without firing a single shot. The only catch is that Guillotine must receive express permission from Ingrid, Elysion's CEO, to remove the limiter on her eye.
A Nikke from Extrinsic who is always off in her own world. She believes that it is her destiny to lead a solitary life. Half-obscured with an eye patch.
Guillotine's mind is a delusional mess of eighth-grader syndrome, or "chunibyo''. She claims that a demon is sealed within her eye, and invokes the name "One-Winged Dark Lord" when using it. She even hosts a group chat dubbed "The Church of Doomseye", where she and fellow chuuni aficionados indulge in pretentious dialogue and "discuss" the "shadow war" between "The Association" (Elysion) and "The Big O" (the Central Government). Because of her grandiose delusion, her fellow squadmate Maiden would often express exasperation about her.

Despite not being the leader, Guillotine is actually the first Nikke to be assigned to Extrinsic. Though she did not protest her work knowing its necessity, she found the mandatory isolation from others stifling due to the secrecy of her work and the unease it caused in other Nikkes. One day, while subjugating an Irregular, Guillotine stumbled upon Chloe, a little girl who anchored herself in a fantasy. Chloe harbored no fear seeing what Guillotine did, if anything she was excited to see her and her eye, weaving a narrative about how the Nikke was the seal keeper of the "One-Winged Dark Lord" and a fellow "Association" member.
From then on, Chloe and Guillotine formed an unexpected friendship bound by the former's fantasies, though the latter was happy to finally have a friend. Guillotine confided to Chloe her woes as an isolated member of Extrinsic, so eventually, the dreamer created the "Ice Dragon Saga." A role-playing game book where Guillotine could gather companions, and go on grand adventures together in another world, the only limits being their imaginations. Those days used to be the happiest of Guillotine's life, and she wholly embraced her friend's fantasies as a way for them to bond. Until that day, when it all came to an end...
One day, just before the climactic final battle against the "White Ice Dragon" who was the antagonist of the Saga, Guillotine received an urgent request to subjugate an Irregular. However, she hesitated when the Irregular babbled some cutting words, and allowed it to run amok in the Ark. The end result was several deaths and injuries by the time the Irregular was stopped...including Chloe, who'd gotten caught in the crossfire trying to retrieve the Ice Dragon Saga. Guillotine fell into despair over how she failed her mission and her best friend, only managing to climb out of her misery with some encouraging words from Ingrid.
Some time later, Maiden would join Extrinsic as its newest member, as the higher-ups decided Guillotine alone would not be able to handle Irregulars. Guillotine resolved herself to ensure that her junior would never undergo the same strife she did in the past. As tribute (and coping mechanism for Chloe's loss), Guillotine kept up the chuuni fantasies and prose-like speech, things that baffled and annoyed Maiden to no end.
