Maruki

Maruki is a retired concierge who occasionally still gets called for temporary jobs at the Hokkyoku Department Store. He is very popular with female patrons and for his magic tricks. He's very knowledgeable in being able to help with guests, but due to having worked so long ago, a lot of his knowledge revolves around businesses that have already shut down. In volume 2 of the manga, Maruki is depicted as a more full-bodied man with somewhat long hair, a moustache, and a beard; this lends well for his appearance as Santa Claus in the last chapter.
