Mioko Hagiwara

Appears in The Devil in the Water. Mioko is Takaya's late wife and the heir to the Hagiwara family business. Despite their marriage being arranged, she genuinely loved Takaya. She died after drowning in the pond near the mansion.

Mioko was lied to by Arima, the housekeeper, that Takaya had mistresses. Arima later raped Mioko and, when she realized the truth, pushed her into the pond and left her to drown.
