She act desperately to get her son married. She appeared in Pleakley's dream in episode 23 of the first series, and for some reason she introduced Gantu as a matchmaking partner. She came to Izayoi Island with her husband to meet Pleakley in episode 28 of the second series. After that, she often appears in the main story.
