A mobile suit pilot for Zeon, he and Char Aznable attacked the federation ship White Base in his Zaku II when it was attempting to enter the earth's atmosphere. His battle with the RX-78-2 Gundam lasted too long and was pulled in by earth's gravity and incinerated along with his Zaku by the frictional heat from entering the atmosphere.
