Masao Kobayashi

Boy who recently graduated from elementary school and joined the workforce as a milkman. He saw the newsman on the bridge Ichikawa was thrown off from, but kept quiet to the police, making them think she jumped off on her own. His contribution to the falsehood that Ichikawa committed suicide made him a victim of the bakeneko, which trapped him in the first car of the subway during the opening ceremony for the subway station.
