Kit "Christopher" Church

The second son of the Duke Henry Church and his late wife Charlotte. He rejects being an aristocrat, instead wanting to attend Saint Thomas. The first friend he made at school was Peter. Being the top student, Kit is often regarded as a genius. However, in actuality, he has never felt satisfied with his art and continues drawing "desperately" because of that. Kit falls in love with Lili, but only realizes his feelings when Catherine points it out.

Following his father's death, Kit decides to embrace being an aristocrat. He goes overseas to perform his duties as an ambassador, but becomes lost when his ship sinks. Kit meets Lili again and returns to England. After traveling for some time, Kit and Lili are reunited in England for good.
