Mai Gotou
About
A character exclusive to the 2001 anime adaptation of Fruits Basket, as a replacement for the manga and 2019 anime character Mai Iwata. She is a member of the Prince Yuki Fan Club and a student at Kaibara Municipal High School.

During the attempted confrontation with Saki Hanajima in episode eighteen, Mai is the only member of the fan club who does say her name in front of Megumi, preventing her from being cursed.
