He is the current daimyou of the Land of Wind, replacing the former wind daimyou. During a meeting of the Five Great Shinobi Countries' daimyou he was the third daimyou out of the five, who consented to allow the Allied Shinobi Forces to officially form, being wary of "Madara Uchiha"'s position as the leader of Akatsuki.
