In order to retrieve the book "Elements," which was the family's property and was taken by Tolui, she serves Sorghaghtani Beki, Tolui's wife. However, she becomes frustrated with her innocence and carelessness, and decides to take revenge on the Mongols. On Sira's suggestion that "it is better to have a good background in order to gain access to the royal family," she uses her former master's name, Fatima, from then on.

After the new emperor's enthronement, she is ordered by Sorghaghtani to infiltrate Chagatai as a spy, but is mistaken for someone who stole the Jada stone she possessed, and is taken to Töregene. As a result, she becomes Töregene's maidservant and plots her revenge against the Mongol Empire.
