Her real name is Rachel Asaka and she used to be a bodyguard for Amanda Hughes, a politician who was assassinated by the Black Organization via the APTX 4869. Her boyfriend was professional shogi player Kouji Haneda, Shuukichi's older brother, before he was killed by the same poison that took out Amanda. After the incident, Rachel went into hiding and changed her name to Rumi Wakasa.
