Saimon" Simon "Gas Station Clerk

He is seen briefly in the Highschool of the Dead anime, staring blankly across the room, oblivious to the outbreak, as Takashi runs over one of Them in front of his store. His name and character design are based on the English zombie comedy film Shaun of the Dead (2004) and the main character Shaun Riley, who is often seen to be oblivious to his surroundings (often staring blankly into space). He also shares his appearance as well as his name with Shaun's actor, Simon Pegg.
